2011 marked the 100th year of insurance service to Kenaston and surrounding area.

1905 Albert John Hoffmann
Albert John Hoffmann homesteaded in the Kenaston area in 1905 and saw selling Wawanesa Insurance as a growing opportunity as a sideline to his farming operation.

1945 Del and his wife Frances
This grew to be a viable business that Albert's son Del took over selling in 1945. Del and his wife Frances opened D.M. Hoffman Insurance from their home in Kenaston, which a year later expanded to include insurance products offered by the newly formed Saskatchewan Government Insurance Office. For the next 42 years they sold insurance from an office in their home. The business growth allowed for more products and services to be offered through the years, including motor vehicle License Issuing, Home, Auto, Farm, Health, Commercial, Hail and Life insurance.

1984 Jeanette and Al Hoffmann
In 1984 their children Jeanette and Al obtained their licenses, entering into the 3rd generation of selling insurance.

1991 Al and Joanne Hoffmann
In 1991 Al and his wife Joanne took over the business from Frances. The name was changed to "Al Hoffmann Insurance Inc" and the business was moved into a new building and present location.
In 1995 Vickie Holder (Jeanette's daughter-in-law) joined the team, working with Al till his retirement.

2011 Vickie and Tim Holder
In November 2011, Tim and Vickie Holder took over the business, now the 4th generation of a family business. The name was changed to "Hoffmann Holder Insurance" and continues to operate offering all products and services as in the past.
